Last updated: 2 September 2026

Using yearsixlearning

yearsixlearning provides online practice, study-planning, and progress tools to support UK Year 6 SATs and 11+ preparation. These terms apply when you create an account, use the website, or use any yearsixlearning learning feature. By using yearsixlearning, you agree to use it in line with these terms.

Parent and guardian responsibility

A parent or guardian must create and manage each family account. They are responsible for ensuring that information supplied is accurate, keeping account passwords and secret words confidential, and supervising a child's use of yearsixlearning. Child profiles are for the individual child selected by the parent or guardian and must not be shared outside the family account.

Learning content and outcomes

yearsixlearning is a supplementary revision resource. Practice questions, learning plans, progress indicators, and guidance are intended to support learning; they do not guarantee a particular SATs, 11+, school, or exam outcome. Families remain responsible for deciding whether the content is suitable for their child's needs.

Artificial intelligence and learning content

We use artificial intelligence to help create educational questions, explanations, and learning guidance. We aim to provide accurate, age-appropriate content aligned with the UK National Curriculum, but AI-generated materials may occasionally contain errors or incomplete explanations. Parents and students are encouraged to report inaccuracies so we can review them. Learning scores and recommendations are intended to support educational progress and are not official SATs assessments.

Acceptable use

You must use yearsixlearning lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to access another family's account, share login details outside your family, interfere with the service, copy or redistribute learning content, or use the platform in a way that could harm other users or yearsixlearning. We may suspend or restrict access where needed to protect users or the service.

Our content and your access

yearsixlearning and its learning materials, branding, software, and design are protected by intellectual-property rights. We grant families a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the service for their own child's learning. This does not transfer ownership or allow content to be copied, sold, published, or shared without permission.

Account availability

We work to keep yearsixlearning available and accurate, but the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We may change, improve, or remove features where reasonably necessary. We are not responsible for losses caused by a temporary interruption where we have acted reasonably.

Privacy and data

Our Privacy Policy and GDPR page explain how we handle parent and child information. They form part of these terms. Parents and guardians should review them before creating a family account.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when yearsixlearning changes or when the law requires it. The current version will be published on this page with its revision date. Continued use of yearsixlearning after an update means you accept the updated terms.
